Job Description

A major nuclear and defence project in the UK is looking for an experienced project manager to help deliver and new and exciting project for the UK nuclear/defence sector.

  • Job Title - Project Manager
  • Location - Reading
  • Contract Length - 18 Months
  • Pay Rate - £63.57 per hour (INSIDE IR35)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a new project and work with the team from the ground up.

Essential Skills:

  • Direct project management of a large scale project for over 5 years
  • A background in large scale construction projects
  • Experience in working with Contracts and contract management
  • Experience in full project lifecycle and a demonstrable background in working on projects with multi-discipline skills
  • Stakeholder management and the ability to report and record project progress to the necessary clients
  • A good background in working within heavily regulated (nuclear/defence) large scale construction projects to tight deadlines and ensuring that safety is at the forefront of the project.

Required Skills:

  • Formal project management skills/qualifications such as APM/Prince 2
  • 5 + years of project management experience
  • A background in a nuclear/defence project
  • NEC 4 experience
  • Active UK Security clearance
