Location: Warrington 5 days in office for first 6-month then 2 days working from home subject to SL requirements
Job Purpose.
To deliver a project document control service to projects and functions, classifying, registering, and tracking documents within the document management system. Responsible for comprehending and interpreting the nature of record content and accurately recording metadata.
To work as part of a central team providing high quality project document control service to projects and functions within Sellafield Ltd, ensuring the service provision agreements with customers are met.
The post holder will report to the Project Document Control Lead and is required to work with a flexible and blended approach on site, at offsite offices (West Cumbria & Warrington) and home, directed around business needs.
As a project Document Controller your main responsibilities will be:
To deliver a project document control service to projects and functions, classifying, registering, and tracking documents within the document management system.
Responsible for comprehending and interpreting the nature of record content and accurately recording metadata.
To classify documents on to the document management system without supervision, understanding the links between process and the Approver.
Undertake quality compliance checks to ensure documents are produced and maintained in accordance with project requirements and SEMS requirements.
Carry out search and retrieval requests, collate and analyse information, produce reports.
Organise own workload with limited reference upwards for direction and the setting of priories, anticipate and deal with issues according to procedures.
