The role
As a Mechanical & Piping Workpack Engineer you'll ensure work packs and associated documentation are complete to programme and provide guidance to MEH works supervision
Day to day, you'll support the work pack Lead in the production of Construction work packs and associated documentation.
* Produce of complex method statements in compliance with MEH procedures.
* Qualified and or approved to produce of task-based risk assessments in compliance with MEH procedures.
* Maintain a high standard approach to quality with a "Right first time" goal.
* Identify the requirement for specialist tooling and materials associated with the works listed in the Workpack.
Essential experience of the Mechanical & Piping Workpack Engineer
* Time served Mechanical / Piping discipline.
* Experience as a Workpack Engineer in a construction environment (Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical)
* IOSH Managing Safely preferred
* CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport
* Working knowledge of RCC-M would be an advantage
* A positive 'can do' mentality, self-motivated, setting the right behaviours.
This role is full-time, based onsite at HPC.
Qualifications for the Mechanical & Piping Workpack Engineer:
* HNC in relevant engineering discipline.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the BPSS level of security clearance for this role.
