Mechanical Design Engineer

Fields of activity: Energy, heavy machinery and equipment, welded mechanical structures, high-security lifting and positioning

What you will do:

• Design technical solutions to meet the challenges and specifications of our clients, in close collaboration with other relevant departments.

• Carry out context analyses, preliminary sizing calculations, and handle constructive aspects as well as the preparation of manufacturing drawings.

• Write technical documentation and participate in manufacturing follow-up, as well as factory and on-site testing.

• Draft technical proposals integrated into offers for our clients.

What you bring:

• Engineering degree.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in machine design and/or welded mechanical structures.

• Mastery of all design stages up to the execution of the manufacturing dossier.

• Excellent knowledge of boiler making, machining, as well as manufacturing and welding techniques.

• Inventiveness, autonomy, ability to work on site, good stress and priority management.

• Initial experience with nuclear industry constraints would be a plus.

• Proficiency in a 3D software, ideally CATIA V5.

• Ease of expression in French and English and good command of the written form of both languages.
