Enterprise Asset Management System Specialist

Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: £38,350 - £50,350 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

AWE is currently recruiting for an Enterprise Asset Management System Specialist

The Asset Management group's roadmap has several projects from critical business transformation projects through to Asset Management and key business enhancements.

As the Enterprise Asset Management System Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and adoption of new capabilities within the Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Application. The ideal candidate would be able to proactively engage with multiple stakeholders to capture requirements, implement system configuration and drive success with business transition.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) subject matter expert in terms of functionality and capability, supporting business areas in process development and system deployment.
  • Working closely with the Senior Enterprise Asset Management System Specialist providing technical support to them and the project team.
  • Engaging with the business/stakeholders and Information Service product teams to deliver strategic projects.
  • Delivering tasks in support of project delivery from inception to the live production environment
  • Supporting the development of requirements capture and technical optioneering
  • Ensuring system designs meet the needs of the business and align with the function strategy.
  • Ensuring designs are fully documented and completed in line with company policies.
  • Support system testing and coordination of user acceptance testing, ensuring comprehensive system and user is completed for all new capabilities.
  • Assist in the creation of user training material.
  • Supporting the deployment, including the transition into EAM operational team.

Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of the EAM system would be desirable.
  • Experience working in project environment and knowledge of project management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Be able to think strategically with an ability to translate strategy into plans.
  • Working knowledge of legislation and its application in asset operations
  • Proven track record in supporting and managing software platform operational use and development projects.

We do need you to have the following:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in IT/Business management or Engineering Discipline.
  • Experience working with IT applications and system configuration.

  • You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
